2008 Apr 15 THIS IS A BOX I am playing, as I write this little journal bit; trying to learn the forms and functions of the various clicky bits, above! Well, they probably are not above, to you, but they are to me as I am typing. On to the actual journal, then: I have yet to get a proper start on the next book, which is being written under the working title of 'More on the Princess'. Which is to say, that I do have several bits written, but, I have yet to feel that special feeling when things start to really come together, the cats and children have finally sloughed off of your subconscious, and it is no longer work but simply life.
Do you know what I mean?
I can coast and write for a very long time, but it is only when I get to that point, where I must (and do) dive in, that I feel truly fulfilled in the function. I am always a writer, but at that point I am also an author.
The thing is, I have encountered a set back financially, which there is nothing new in that, unfortunately. However, I also am experiencing a set back emotionally, due to having trusted and cared for a man, to some extent, again. It is a nasty habit, that has claimed far more lives than cigarettes, so I can't quite fathom why I keep falling back into it. And, there are legal, physical, familial, and equipment set backs .. all at the same time. Though most of the legal part that affects me directly is also related to financial.
I had played about on Dramatic Pro, their demo model, ^.. and I have to finish this later ... sorry! 2006 Nov 22 .... I don't believe in Hell, but I do believe in the sheer pain and trauma of trying to effectively format a book of poems as a first (real) effort. Much like Dante, through perseverence, hard work, and a lot of prayer, I have risen above it, conquered my fears, etc. At least, I'm assuming that's what Dante did. I've never actually finished the book. It almost always inspires me to either start writing or to go to sleep and never much of anything in between. Anyway, finally - my first Lu Lu book done. Now if only I could afford a copy of it! lol Attached is the picture that I drew back in .. 1997? 1993? Some time ago, anyway, and which was altered for 'Sweet Surrender' to be a picture of Gwenhyfare (Guinevre) Thanks for reading!
