I was introduced to the world of photography by accident. While enrolled in a high school journalism class, my teacher asked if I would be interested in being the photographer for the school newspaper and yearbook. At that point, my fascination with photography suddenly began.
In 1997, I earned a degree in Art Education from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and worked as an art teacher for three years until I earned my Masters Degree in Student Affairs.
In recent years, I began to develop my artistic skills, indulging in black and white photography as well as other art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpting, crafts, and book making.
