Stacy Pennebaker began writing poems and short stories for school publications and for private viewing while in grade school and through highschool. She never thought of writing children's books untill her own children came along and came up with fantastic and imaginative stories of their own. She started recording some of these stories so that her children would be able to see them when they were grown. On a whim she wrote up a story into a book to read to her kids, and her family and friends thought it was a hit. She decided that others might like her children's stories too and that began her first book. Thanks be to the imagination of innocence! 75% of profit for this book will go to benefit our illustrator Deborah Parcell who is in need of a liver transplant.
