Earl, a retired Engineer from Georgia, has been dumped into a retirement community by his sons. He is depressed and has given up on life. Paola lives there as well. She is a retired History teacher from NY who is very engaging and lives life to the very fullest. She has always been a very romantic and passionate woman, however, because of her mature age the only place she can now find willing partners is on the internet. By pretending that she is a young, tall, thin and blonde girl, she is able to bring back her youth and feel attractive again. Earl soon learns to like this unlikely friend and begins to see that one can take different approach to life. He begins to look forward to his tomorrows with a slightly different slant. We see that there are always new adventures to be found and he finds his second chance.
