Retiring from an extensive career in law enforcement which included service as a detective, patrol deputy, undercover narcotics investigator, and pilot, Larry Annen began working for an international security company. His assignments so far have included working in Africa, the Balkans, and Middle East. When not on deployment he divides his time between living aboard his sailboat in St. Petersburg, and a residence in Lakeland, Florida. When not searching for lost treasure along the Florida coastline, Larry Annen has began the first in a series of Pete Mitchell adventure novels.
