Come Join the Circle! Come sing! Come dance! Come learn new languages and customs. Everyone can be part of this engaging, social interaction. When children become an equal and participating member of this mini-community within circle dancing, they transfer the personal strength and pliability learned to their daily lives.
This simple ancient exercise and singing and dancing together proves to be one that also provides optimal brain development. ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
`Here is what others are saying:
"Susan has gently taken my hand and led me on a fascinating dance journey of science, art, music, dance, language, self-awareness and other-awareness. She beckons me to grasp the hands of principals, teachers, and parents to join in this circle, celebrating our children’s infinite capacity to learn experientially. As Einstein has encouraged us, lest we imprison our children in stiff chairs to dry academics, “Learning is experience. Everything else is just information.” Thank you, Susan." -----------Rhonda Auchinleck-Williams, teacher Montessori School, VA
````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````"The text thoroughly outlines a practical and engaging approach that will prove valuable in promoting multidimensional early learning. It offers those working with young children a way to lay a solid groundwork for not only the 3R's readiness skills such as rhythm and rhyme, but also the critical character skills such as empathy and cooperative problem solving. Educators will appreciate the flexible model, providing options throughout the year of appropriate times to introduce circle dancing and its benefits to their students." --------------Patricia Kies, School Psychologist in Janesville, Wisconsin
``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````A terrific resource for educators and artists alike. With her colorful analogies and examples, Susan takes you on a journey through the wonders of tone, rhythm
and movement for early childhood learning. Immensely practical and enjoyable, this book will have you and your group of children jumping, singing and exploring all the potentials of multi-modal learning. The end result -- happier, more expressive, inquisitive and creative children. Inspiring! ------------------Kathryn Sprowls, author/editor of "I Open My Eyes to You and "All My Relations".
