Jordyn here, I apologize once again for the lateness of this issue. I also want to announce that the Mangazine team and I have decided to go back to two issues a year. Both because of the complexity of editing these issues and the lack of content. Thank you all for your patience.

I'm so excellently satisfied - AAzine this month is FREE if you download it. You can download and print out.. but the cover doesn't come with the download version. And you can definitely buy the print tho.. with the lowest price, I think ever for the zine ! Woohoo! Praise the Lord. GET IT and comment, vote for us something.... Posted on Wednesday 19 of October, 2005 [19:39:03 UTC] So I finally received MY copy of issue 6.. yes, just a few days ago I got my copy of what's been out for over a month now. I now see where a lot of the concerns were and I will be working on a new release of issue 6 hopefully early next month. But I couldn't BEEN gotten this released if I had my copy earlier. I don't wanna be rude but Lulu really is eating at my nerves lately. As far as a new printer, well we don't have much choice at the moment.. which brings me to my next thoughts Teamwork Between the summer release and now, I've really come to the conclusion that there needs to be a LOT.. not a lil but a LOT of teamwork for this zine to get off the ground. This is like an ironic expression b/c we don't have a team. I have to note that Mave has been more than supportive during this recent time period. She's interested, she offers new ideas, she listens and has been, since she started with the staff back in April/May, a consistent contributor. She's also one of our best artists and always sends a sufficient page amount per issue. Now if I had 3 more like her... I decided to add a bite more about her manga below. Will and Shan have been, I'd say outside of Mave, the only others on the staff able to do more than than submissions. I have not been the best of editors/stewards with the zine. So I'm amazed that things have gone this well. I'm thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for His provision with this project. So what do we need? I NEED STAFF TO WORK WITH ME, FOR IDEAS, DISTRIBUTION, RECRUITMENT. But most importantly is to get the issues out to the people for witnessing purposes.I've tried to ask those involved for suggestions and the only thing it seems most agree on is that we need to put out LESS and put in MORE. This has lead to me changing the zine schedule to having regular sized zines (50 page and up) available only for summer and winter and the rest of the time, by God's grace, we'll put out the short version (15 pages or less) of praise and entertainment monthly. This is what I'll be working on for a bit this evening and hopefully the next time I update (which probably will be when the Fall issue is released) we'll have some more complete news. If you'd like to help please email me at fanaazine@gmail.com ''So who is Mave? Well possibly the sweetest Christian mangaka out there. I remember finding her manga Kcome on the web. Reading it and being enthralled. Then I met her, shyly - wow surprised how down to earth she was. Never pretenses. From the fame she's gained as a Christian mangaka, you sure wouldn't have thought so of her. Her site is http://www.kcome.net/ Her manga that is featured in AnimeAngels Mangazine is called "Kingdom Come". It's a great manga about Kim Yong, a member the top teenage idol group in the nation, Berserk. One day, Kim finds himself divided. He wants to find the real meaning of life because, even at the top, he feels empty. Just go to Mave's site and click on the first link under the heading "Hosted Webmanga/Comics". ''Posted on Saturday 17 of September, 2005 [20:49:15 UTC] Yay another update. Update? What's that? Ok maybe I should update more frequent, but honestly I think this is the best it'll get. So what is this update about?? MADNESS! NO! Absolute frantic MADNESS! The zine has had some great ups within the past month. I was actually interviewed by Will Holland's hometown newspaper (Will is one of our newest mangaka); you can find it on thefacts.com. Things were looking up with contacts and other support. Until we had several difficulties getting the zine uploaded, then when I thought we were clear... LULU went beserk on me! After I made the huge order so we could sell at conventions coming up, a few days later I get a message that something was wrong. Now after 3 weeks I still don't know the exact status except that there has been a refund. I heard on the forum here that it was probably their printer's fault and most likely nothing was wrong with our stuff (we reloaded them all anyway). @_@ So after all the stress of trying to get things out on time, it still order-able. I was getting so frustrated and overworked. But after much prayer (And thanks everyone for your prayers!), God has blessed me with new set of ideas for the zine's staff. I feel a great peace about everything. And altho we were late, the summer issue is out!Truthfully, I could be more satisfied with it - but I'm thankful it's done and there are some real gems in this issue. Some of our artists should so be professional! Also, this will be great news for many of you: We are going to have more samples for guys! They will be 2-6 pager samples of articles and art and quick 1-shot manga. Waaay cheaper (some FREE! and easier to get your hands on. Some will be in stores. We need help tho, if you know of a Christian store (books, but we'll take any help), plz contact me. BTW - All the zines are fine and ready to be orderedPlease keep the zine in prayer and comment or email us at fanaazine@gmail.com so we know someone's out there! Posted on Saturday 27 of August, 2005 [17:29:05 UTC] Yep, the editor of AAzine finally makes time to update this blog *shock shock shock shock* First off, I FINALLY fixed Issue 4! *yay* I'm sorry it took forever guys & gals. I'll make an update on Anime Angels because I -KNOW- there is no one viewing this post lol. But maybe in the immediate future we'll have a few readers here. Who knows - God knows :) God's so good. I thank Him for helping us to get the zine up and going, for all the great support we've gotten thus far, and for allowing me to get Issue 4 back up even though my computer has been worse than ever the past month. REAL IMPORTANT STUFF- Keep Site Admin & Mangaka, Nicole K in prayer - she's moving to Japan this summer!
- Summer Explosion issue is coming out soon! The biggest and most manga-packed issue yet. I would say end of July, beginning of Aug.
- Art contest with prize of free summer issue :D
