Turkey day is over, and now it time to get ready for Christmas

Carrie Cline in coolminded0's Blog
Friday 26 of November, 2004
Well, another Thankgiving has come and gone, and it is time for Christmas songs to be played on the radio. For some reason one of the radio station in my area started to play Christmas music three days before Thanksgiving. They said they were going to play Christmas songs after Thanksgiving, but they lied. I like Christmas music, but not three days before Thanksgiving. On the topic of Christmas music, I decided to make a list of the top 100 most greatest Christmas songs of all time. But I'm doing this list by verison and not just song. Once my list is done then you the reader will get to sound off on who number 1 and who should be on the list.

Song of the Day: some Cat Stevens song that was feature in the hoilday commerical for the US postal service.

Only two people reply to my plea for people to contribute to my Christmas book of charity. One of them is contributing his artwork for the cover. And the other person did reply, but came back with a story that she was planning on writing. I email Annie the person in charge of the newsletter for the books on lulu did reply to my email about mention it in the newsletter, but she did not put it the newsletter which pisses me off. But don't worry I found a hell lot better then those selfish jerks. Havelock Child Developmental Center needs help, and writers here would rather think of them seleves and not other. I hope they get a good night sleep, because parents who sent their kids to the Child Developmental Center won't.

Going to the extreme

Carrie Cline in coolminded0's Blog
Tuesday 09 of November, 2004
For some reason my book is not selling and I try promoting it but that not working. When ever I mention my on the lulu forum or any other forum people look at the page where the book is but don't buy it. Wrote a press release and email it to the editor of my local newspaper, but never got a reply back which sucks. So, going to extreme in promoting my book and getting money to get out of the house. I can't tell you how because some of my way are going to be a little bit illegal, but this a good way of getting money for my book.

Then after that is finish I'm going make a new list which is viewers choice, just in case people don't like my choices. But I'll give you a hint, half of the song you'll like.

5 more days until the election and last minute ads on T.V. are running non-stop. I am sick of it and I wish this election was over with so we can enjoy the holidays in peace. I'm also sick of negitive ads that are showing up on T.V., I think it give kids a bad message on how run a good campaign toward their position.

In other news, no one has bought my book yet. I plan on doing a press release for my local newspaper sometime in late Novemeber to create hype around town. I hope a lot of people buy my book cause the Library need the money for new computers and books. I know everyone tried of hearing this, but it something that need to be done.

I just finish a web site for the "Havelock Friend the Library", which is a group that does stuff for their local libraries. Mother made me join, she thought that this was a good way for me to get a job. While I was working on the site I put my book on the site as one of the "book of the month" section of the site. This is a good way for me to get some attantion and generate sales of my book. I haven't been having any luck selling my book, but I'm working on it. I'm keeping this blog short so I can go to bed.

Bite me!

Wordpad sucks ass, it doesn't do zero for me. I've been wanting to upload my book, but I did not want to upload with RTF format I wanted to do it on PDF format. But the thing is I've been working on wordpad since we don't have MS Word on my family computer. The thing about Wordpad that I don't like is that it doesn't have spell check and I suck at spelling so that reason I don't like wordpad. Also it hard to upload a file from wordpad on to the internet, including to lulu. Try to convert from RTF to PDF with the adobe file convert that lulu recommended and that did work. But I'll something figure something out.

Idea, Idea, Idea part 2

Carrie Cline in coolminded0's Blog
Thursday 07 of October, 2004
Well, here the second half of my idea blog. I have cool idea for an invention which is called the intsant wallet. It's a wallet/arm band that you wear on your wrist, instead in your pocket. I hope to get it patient soon as I make it, but I did draw the plans for it. Once I get it patient I would like to market it to the homeland secrity people. It kind of suck that don't have a job which is the key for me to get out of the house. That's why I been doing this work at home stuff just so I can get money to get out of the house. My other idea is to create a big business on ebay, everyone is doing it. I've been hearing on the commericals and in the news that people are making thousands of dollar selling stuff, why can't that be me? I can sell my books and calendars that I created. But you have to have a credit card in order to sell those items, which really suck. Why dose money always take over my way of living.

Idea, Idea, Idea part 1

Carrie Cline in coolminded0's Blog
Sunday 03 of October, 2004
I've been getting a lot of ideas in my head latelly. Like writing a children book on how my cousin Tony was once jealous of me when I was a baby, which I stated in my second blog. I also stated in my last post about the musical. This time I have an idea for a book that I am plan on writing which is about a black boy from the streets, raised by an old man. He get an idea to write a novel on the social issues that happen in Northern Ireland, where the streets inspire him. It basiclly a book within a book. I started to write some of the story down on paper. I would love to share more of my ideas, but it late and I plan on taking a bath tonight before I good to bed. But I will tell you more tomorrow.
