Writing Tales is a comprehensive writing curriculum for the classical homeschooler. Level One is written for the 3rd to 4th grader. Level Two is written for the 4th to 5th grader. Both Levels are based on the first level of the classical Greek progymnasmata exercises. At this level writing is taught by having the students study and model well-written short fables and fairy tales.
The Workbook is meant to be used in tandem with the Teacher's Guide. Lesson Plans for Homeschoolers as well as "Co-opers", or homeschool co-operatives, are included in the Teacher's Guide. The program is extremely user-friendly.
