welcome to Cultural Health Central. My name is Aunk and I am your host.
At this website you will find Cultural Health and Physical Health resources,
designed as self-help for the inner and outer you. For example, above you see
two cultural health resources, my first book and my first
"blook" (A Blook is a book based on a blog). You will also see one physical health resource, the self-help
guide to improving your eyesight.
All of us can improve
our Cultural Health by reducing Cultural Poisoning and raising Cultural
literacy. Speaking of cultural literacy, The two symbols at the beginning of
this website are from Classical African Civilization, Kemet (Egypt). The one on
the left is the Ankh (not a cross), it is more then ten thousand years
old and is known as the key to life. The symbol on the right is the Magic
Wand of Ti Huti (Caduceus) which could be found marking the houses of life
(Hospitals). In ancient times great doctors like Ti Huti and Imhotep
carried the keys that have been handed down to us. And so it is today, that we
still see healthcare professionals wearing the Caduceus.
Speaking of
Healthcare, I have some secrets for you. But first some words of wisdom, while
culture is important, if we fail to maximize our physical health, culture will
not mean what we think it means. As you scroll down, you are going to come
to AnkhTowers, were you will find the Cultural Health Book Store. At the store,
in addition to the famous Cultural Literacy BookSets by ethnic group (European
BookSet, Asian BookSet, etc.) you will find some of those secrets I have for you
in the Physical Health and Wellness Department. When I was a child I
always got colds in the winter. I am happy to report that I have not had a cold
in years because of something I call AnkhTechnoTone, that is, the combining of
ancient and modern technology to improve physical health. So, stop by the
"Cold" section of the Health and Wellness Department and learn my
secret.
As I conclude your

Download: $1.00 I was asked to go and explain the Kwanzaa celebration to my grandson's kindergarten class. This was a wonderful opportunity to spread cultural health. I went in my African American business cloths and changed (behind a movable puppet stage) into my African Kwanzaa self. Great fun was had by all.
This was a wonderful learning experience for me, my grandson, his multiethnic class and teachers.
This experience caused me to reflect on the following reality. This is the first generation of young Americans that will grow up with Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, as a normal part of their cultural database.
While I am happy to be and elder, this is also a wonderful time to be in kindergarten.
