Welcome to my store. I have a number of songs in MP3 format and the first two novels of a trilogy set in the far future.
Both novels are in print and e-book formats, with the e-books specially formatted for easy reading on the usual landscape-style monitors that come with PCs, laptops and notebooks.
Check out my site at www.futureriff.com for my blog, plus free short stories to show my writing prowess. I put a new SF story up about every month or so.

Print: $14.67 Titz wants a baby again and Gyro can't see the point. It was
bad enough when Fracture caused her to lose the first one.
And why now, when that born-again woman-hater is back in
their life? Gyro wants to help his latest victim, Elanora
Blakey, the wealthy centenarian, but Titz will only agree if
she can use Elanora's virgin regenerator to make a special
baby.
NISA agent, Matt Bolton, is God's gift to women and he's sure
he can turn Gyro back from the dark side. Titz hates him,
almost as much as she hates Gyro pretending to be
befuddled Elanora's long lost friend. But Yellow Peril needs
the money. Honest!
Matt knows Fracture is a man, even though his boss insists
the cyber terrorist is Pandora, daughter of missing foreign
scientist, Ikmael h'Mourhan. With Gyro's help, he can prove
it and uncover the president's dirty little secret. All he has to
do is control himself.
The delectable Carla has a secret too…

Download: $0.79 Techno Dance - this is an experiment in a different style of music for me. It was fun, but the production was quite demanding. Even though I did the vocals, I think a female vocalist would suit it better. Trouble is, my feminine side and me aren't talking.
I swear ... I wasn't trying to touch you!

I Hate The BanksI Hate The Banks (multimedia download)
Download: $0.79 Rockabilly - I think the title's quite succinct.
Fees? I friggin' hate them. They're a license to print money. You walk into a bank with a gun and demand money and they throw you in jail, but a CEO creates a new account fee that rips off the bank's customers and brings in millions of dollars and he gets a hefty bonus and a payrise. It's theft and this fun song says it all.
So why aren't the bastards in jail?

New MedicationNew Medication (multimedia download)
Download: $0.79 Rock with folk feel - this is a fun song about the joys of pharmaceutical drugs. I saw a documentary or read an article - I can't remember which - that was criticizing the misuse by doctors in over-prescribing drugs and the role the drug companies played. But amongst all the negative examples, they gave a couple of positive interviews for balance. And that made me think, it can't be all bad....

Wayne’s Blog
2006 Nov 19 On Writing Science Fiction Spaceships--where would SF be without them? But so often, they are treated as an afterthought, especially when it comes to FTL or faster-than-light travel. We’ve all seen Star Trek with warp drives, or hyperdrives as in Star Wars, Stargate and a myriad of SF movies and novels, and which are essentially the same in that the passengers hop into their ship, flip a switch or press a button and hey presto! They’re suddenly traveling faster than light to amazing new worlds. Except for the time it takes to travel from Zaccarus IV to Beligro Minor, say, the only other way they affect the plot of a story is if they run out of fuel or the engines break down. Other than that, little interest is given to how FTL flight can affect world building and thus the plot in general. Oh sure, you get the occasional TV plot where some genius modifies an engine, or a new experimental engine is tried out and something goes wrong so that the intrepid crew is stranded light-years in the middle of nowhere or in some strange dimensional space or a parallel universe and have to find some way to get back. But these are all about the unexpected happening and the characters reacting to that. They are not the everyday experiences that one might expect. Which brings us to me. I like to think up the technology and science behind the drives in the spaceships in my novels — both sub-light and supra-light drives. The reason I do that is because I want to know how the technology works and hence how it affects everyday life in the universe I’m building (and besides, I have nothing better do with this useless grey matter in my head.) This is an excerpt from my blog entry: Faster-Than-Light - Use It To Build Worlds. I go on with an example of what I came up with for The Rodan Trilogy and I'll put in another example from another trilogy I'm writing, which is based on a completely different idea.
On Writing Songs You might have noticed that I have fourteen songs listed for sale. That makes my storefront quite crowded. But don't worry, I have another three about ready, one of which I'm planning to make free, just as soon as I redo the vocals and get a take I'm happy with. On my website I talk about the difficulties writing songs, but the real difficulty is in marketing them. Putting a pile of songs on the internet is one thing, but getting people to find them and garnering their interest enough so they fork out some money to buy them. People like you (Get the hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink) Okay, so this is about as sophisticated as my marketing technique has developed so far. Curses! And I thought it would be so easy....
