About the Authors:
Danielle Bruckert began her flight training in New Zealand, before immigrating to Namibia where she worked for 10 years as a professional pilot. She completed her initial training on Cessna 150's and 152's, and progressed through the Cessna 182, 206, and several other types, eventually beginning her professional career as a charter pilot flying the Cessna 210, 310 and 402. With the increased popularity of small turbines the freelance charter market took her into the cockpits of the Cessna 208 and 406 and Beechcraft 1900, before an airline career led to a position on the Boeing 737 as a First Officer.
Oleg Roud was trained in the Russian Military, and flew military fighter and cargo jets before making a lifestyle change to become a charter pilot in Namibia. After completing licence conversion training on the Cessna 172 and Cessna 210 he began flying the C210, C406 and C208, and later completed his instructor rating on the Cessna 152 and 172.
Danielle and Oleg met flying the Cessna 210 on safari, and similar ideas would mean they would work together on a number of projects, with many more in store for the future.
