About the Writer/Artist...

J.Damien Larabee (or "The Bee"/J.D. as many people call him) has been drawing and writing for cartoons, childrens books/comic books and providing artwork for various advertisements for almost 20 years. He is most well known for some of his coloring books starring his chunky hero TUNDO, his comic book/real-life superhero character The Urban Whip and his various childrens books like the Mister Hero Guy series. He has recently drawn for issues of Johnnie Zombie and Stilleto Heights by Midgard/JK Not So Funny Books.

J.D. also maintains a small website of his works affectionately called Beetoons

On rare occassions, J.D. can often be found drawing cartoons and caricatures at local events. He even sells his artwork and prints matted at a popular local comic book store in Hilliard, Ohio called Packrat Comics.

"The Bee" spends most of his time drawing well-known comic book characters and movie/tv celebrity cartoons. This has allowed him to become quite a fan draw at comic book conventions around the country like the various Wizard World Conventions, and locally at the Pop Culture and Buckeye Con in Columbus, Ohio.

Swing by his site, or feel free to contact J.D. for your own cartoon or original art needs... He is always happy to do inexpensive commissioned works for fans!
