Pathworking is a meditation technique based on the Hermetic Kabbalah, a system of philosophy that is at the root of virtually every Western mystery tradition. The central emblem of this philosophy is the Tree of Life, a series of ten Divine Emanations connected by 22 paths. Each path corresponds to a letter in the Hebrew alphabet — and one of the Tarot's Major Arcana. Exploring these paths while in a state of deep meditation is called pathworking.

Tav corresponds to the Tarot Trump "The World". Exploring this path, helps an individual break the bonds of Karma by restoring balance within one's own personality.

It has been a good month since the Pathworking was done at Siouxland First Wiccan Congregation. I have been using the CD on a fairly regular basis, and the results have been extremely satisfactory.

The trance state occurs without fail; I tend to not "come to" until the wake-up procedure is completed. And while I have very few direct memories of what actually occurs during these memories, I have been flooded with inspiration and spiritual insights since beginning the Pathworking.

The path of Gimel takes the consciousness into very high spiritual states of awareness, and the mind most likely just doesn't have the symbolic tools to translate its experiences in the higher realms. It takes a good day or so for them to filter down into everyday consciousness.
