The Mesner House is a delightful read about 2 boys who discover that their summer vacation holds more than meets the eye. Through conversations between Andy and his best friend Nick, we find that the Mesner house is their neighborhood haunted house. What they learn upon entering the house is more tragic and frightening than they could have imagined. Kathy Erwood does a fine job of bringing along the reader as we follow the boys on their adventure. I look forward to her next book. Sara Thompson Reviewer
