these poems/texts were all composed during early 2007 between the hours of 10:30pm and 2am for two blogs, forwardtext.livejournal .com moderated by jukka-pekka kervinen and pganickz.livejournal.com moderated by the author of this book. first are 9 lyric sequences dedicated to people in the writer's life and work. a number of poems/texts entitled 'text' are interspersed with some reflections on dante's 'divine comedy', a concern of the writer/author during the composition of this book. the nighttime, though, is the reality of these poems---light shining through a dark learning-period for the author. read this book by moonlight for fullest effect.

an evocation of light in the sense of bright yet serious poetry. written in blocks-of-text, which allows for a streamlining of context, there being no obstructions to expression. the poetry experiments with syntactic structure while having driven forward motion. must be experienced by all.

Print: $9.97 Download: FREE Of Being Divisible consists of 250 poems, which each consist of 5 stanzas, which each consist of 5 lines, which each consist of 5 words for a total of 31,250 words. These poems are thus haifuns, poems with the same number of words in each line, lines in each stanza, and stanzas on each page. The base text of this poem (approximately 37%) was created by reading George Oppen’s Of Being Numerous to my computer and letting its imperfect speech recognition software make mistakes.

Print: $10.97 I call the invented form of these poems 'haifun.’ A haifun has the same number of words in each line as lines in each stanza as stanzas on each page. They are thus squares. So, a 2-haifun has 2 words per line, 2 lines per stanza, 2 stanzas per page, and 40 pages in the section (the haifun number squared times 10). What follows here are a 1-haifun, a 2-haifun, a 3-haifun, and a 4-haifun.

Hardcover Print: $31.00 All of Sheila E Murphy's chapbooks from this period are here. From presses all over the world and with differing foci. That Murphy's poetry matures through the years, one can be sure from this collection. There are no weak poems---only page after page of her special lyrical disjuction of language, and though that sounds like a contradiction, it is made manifest here. Lyricism + Linguistic Adventurism = the poetry of Sheila E Murphy.

Download: FREE Hardcover Print: $27.52 An academic publishing house in Manhattan is given a gift of money from a principle stockholder to find out if there is such a thing as “progress in philosophy”. The senior editor in charge of this project, Dan Snyder, hires three philosophers to peer review scripts purporting to show such progress. They are Ralston, a philosophical novelist living out the parody of an existential life in Europe; Radigan, an harassed, guilt-ridden company man trying to keep his challenged family together in Newington, Connecticut; and Robinson, a handsome extrovert connected by marriage to a family of ruthless land developers in California... Their imprint is called “Three R’s Press” and their adventures are sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes hilarious, but ever absurd.
