TOPICS: In one scene, Tim tries to use ‘Ockham’s Razor’ to dismiss Christianus’s metaphysical ideas; in another scene, Christianus introduces his ‘Postman’ scenario, the idea that successful (‘scientific’) prediction may not be a sure sign of true understanding.
