Disc: $15.00 This is the soundtrack to the Terra Mirabila show put on in the Stony Creek rock quarry in CT by "Projects for a New Millennium" headed by Jow Wulke. Music by Istvan Peter B'Racz, lighting by Jamie Burnett, video images by Becky Abbott. Truly a magical outdoor spectacle.

Disc: $15.00 [AUDIO ca. 25'] You are listening to a thin slice/rendering of a 3 CD spatial surround project (called "Froggus Housatonicus") done in conjunction with visual artist Joy Wulke for an exhibit at the Housatonic Museum in Bridgeport, CT. It uses frog sounds that have been manipulated, sculpted, and vastly digitally altered. The more "real" sounds of water, and bamboo ritual-flute plays in stark contrast above the digital-franken-frog soundworld- yet it all seems to meld in a hyper-real fashion. The three CDs were created so that their lengths are different, and when they were put on infinite loop, the whole work would not repeat for an enormous span of time. For me, Nature is the ultimate true "minimalist": same materials, different timings, different sonic interactions, different experience. BACK TO COMPOSITION Page

Disc: $5.50 [CD AUDIO, High Quality 64'27"] Soundtrack VERSION 1 to the 1922 F.W. Murneau b+w silent film performed LIVE by "Goorilla". Istvan Peter B'Racz (keyboard, sampler, sound design, live mixing, recording engineer), Joseph DiPonio (Sax, ancient Knob Synth, various percussion), and Edward Ludvigsen (flute, guitar, vocals and vocal-loops). Performed to the 60' "Republic" video release. Start it right at the "Greek Pendant" image in the beginning...This is actually one long track divided into 8 index points. If you'd like to preview the entire work, please listen to the Mp3 preview-version (following this one). The low price of the CD reflects ONLY the manufacturing cost (NO profit is made in the sale of this recording). Thanks for listening, dear listener. BACK TO NOSFERATU Page BACK TO COMPOSITION Page

Disc: $10.00 [CD-audio] 5 TRACKS: ca. 60 min. These are when little Effin was just a weee-techno-baby. He googoo'd out these motion-lotion dance tunes using the program-ekwivalent of a speak'n'spel (oops! sorry for the mis-spel (oops, again!)). Effin Izzy's copyright free musiks. They're free because they were generated using "Groovemaker(tm)", then mildly edited- and, well, that's just too darned easy- yet they are fun, so I now share them with you. ;-)...so you can get the dinky mp3's (lower quality) free, or you can buy the beautiful CD and get a real full-sound-blast of high quality! All the original sounds on this CD were made by the Groovemaker team, and thanks to them, "I did it my way..."

Download: $0.99 [MP3 DOWNLOAD and PREVIEW] "Papyrus Nugator 1" (ca. 17') is based on a poem written and read by Emoke B'Racz called "Hungarian Childhood". I took her spoken voice and surrounded it with sound; her voice, mostly, to generate the sounds with the exception of a few instruments. I looked at the text and thought to myself: what if this poem was dreaming...hence the title: Paper Dreaming, i.e. paper/tree/word/record/dream/self-aware. Download: $0.99 [MP3 DOWNLOAD/preview] This is the soundtrack to a 15 minute short poem-film "He was a Poet..." written and directed by Mark Saba and filmed by Jerry Domian. There is no dialog, and only a few words are shown in the film- slow shifting dreamy scenes. The music was created with the mindset that the film itself was "dreaming"- and its own dream generated the sounds. It is a beautiful poem about a poet who dies, and gets buried in a tree. Then a tree company cuts it down and makes furniture. Beautiful haunting "prepared-trumpet" playing by soloist Joseph Drew, and distant ringing tones of Gesualdo with sound-design from noises of trees falling and being cut. Included as the third track of "Papyrus Nugator II" CD (much better quality) available at HERE BACK TO Istvan's COMPOSITION Page Back to Istvan's MySpace Page

Download: FREE [MP3 DOWNLOAD] Hypnotic, trippy and quirky: this is the "White Rabbit" song that you might already know, put to a drum loop in 5/4. Effin Izzy's distant trippy background synth and Jesai Jayhmes singing in his dazed sonambulic/hyper-extremes-style make for a good time. Should've been the theme song for the pharmaceutical industry...boy, they really missed-out on THAT one, don't you think? Please give it a listen, preview it, and let us know what you think. Give it your stamp of "whatever". After-all, that's what its all about, isn't it? The freedom to do so. Go ahead, take a freedom-pill, and make it all better... Back to Istvan's MySpace Page
