The Glorious And The WretchedThe Glorious And The Wretched (book)

Let us travel deeper. Somewhere both mythic and monstrous, somewhere the human experience rarely wishes to take us. Perhaps we will find solace here, among these thirty-two tales, here as we face such absolute horrors. Horrors that are subtle, that are majestic. Horrors that are real, that are esoteric. There is a chance that here, somewhere beyond the feeble concepts of Heaven and Hell, somewhere within these stories of the glorious and the wretched we will come to understand...

Originally from East Liverpool, OH. Brian Fatah Steele fell further into the state and landed in Kent. Originally a failed art student, he was chased off by others at the school with sticks & rocks because he refused to believe Warhol was the messiah. Content with his fate, Steele is far more fulfilled now by the written word than he ever was by visual arts, although he still does like to dabble in it.

If he’s not hammering away at his keyboard, creating yet another bizarre tale that somehow crept into his skull, you can probably find him swearing at a canvas while half covered in paint. Known primarily for his journeys into the realms of “Mythic Horror” and Modern Dark Fantasy, Steele also occasionally creates tales more realistic stories and dabbles in symbolic poetry. Influenced by a broad range of all types of creators, music & imagery are just as important to him as the books he may absorb.

Now Brian Fatah Steele spends the day creating, working as a bar bouncer at night. Surviving on cigarettes and coffee, his two cats are plotting his death. He hopes you take away something of merit from his work; that fact that people are reading him, the most important thing...
