Walking Our Talk: Taking radical responsibility for our lives and our world
The essays in this book are written in support of a more compassionate, just, sustainable, and peaceful world, a world in which each of us loves, honors, and respects ourselves, one another, other animals, all living things, the earth itself. I believe that there are millions of us working to create such a society. And while we’re not yet a majority, we are a sizeable and growing segment of the population. For those who wish to move this vision from thought to word to action to reality, I invite you to become an active participant in the emerging culture of connection.

Peaceful Patriots: Taking a stand for peace in an era of endless war
The essays in this book were written to reaffirm our innate personal power, our inherent collective wisdom, and our unquestionable capacity to create the world we want to see. Sages and mystics have noted that peace begins within each of us—in what we think, what we say, and what we do. We must understand that conflict is inevitable but war is always optional if we want our leaders to move away from the outmoded precept that might makes right. We must be conscious of our connection in the web of life with other humans and all species if we wish coexist in harmony and understanding rather than animosity and ill will.
