Café Sundae is aimed at the church's missing generations of teenagers and young adults. The material is non-denominational, though we are registered with the Anglican & Methodist Churches as a “Fresh Expression”.
We're a group of people who decided that we wanted to try a different way of doing church that was open to everyone but really resonated with teenagers and young people. So we went and did it!
We call Café Sundae “Church like you’ve never seen it before”. Often it is church like we’ve never seen it before too! We have run our Café Sundae since 2006 at Timperley Methodist Church in Cheshire UK.
We give our material away freely and are aware of at least 6 churches using the material in the UK. Start with "0 - Introducing Cafe Sundae", which is a 1-page overview and then download its media pack...this will give you all the artwork etc.. Then either follow the numbers upwards, or just pick a topic that grabs your interest.
