Print: $9.95 Download: $4.95 The Mott Street Poker Club is a rare historic book about a poker club, on Mott Street, in New York's Chinatown. This book is of great interest to gambling historians and collectors of gambling paraphernalia.
The Mott Street Poker Club was first published in 1888, by White & Allen, in New York, but it later appeared in some other editions. Now that the book is in the public domain, we offer a reprint edition that is based on the 1888 William Paterson edition. The cover of our reprint edition is a scan of the actual 1888 William Paterson edition that we used as a source.
The author of The Mott Street Poker Club is Alfred Trumble, however, his name does not appear anywhere in this book. Very little is known about the author, except that he wrote a number of unsigned pieces for Fox's "Police Gazette." (paperback; 50 pages; 12 illustrations)
