Holiday Travel Tips
Ok, those of you who have heard me speak know I get an A+ for candor and maybe a C for diplomacy. Well however lacking in diplomacy, someone needs to say a few things about the inconsiderate behavior of others when traveling the friendly skies.
It is the season for family, festivities, reminiscing and holiday travel. What a better time to clarify some travel etiquette for those who may not be in the know.
As a frequent flier there is only one thing more annoying than the ignorance of inexperienced fliers; that is the brazen disregard of many frequent fliers. One has to wonder if they are just brute beasts with no social graces or the missing link in the evolutionary monkey theory. In either case you should print a few copies of this article and kindly hand them off to the subjects of whom I write. Who knows, perhaps they may become enlightened and you will have done the world a great service.
I want to start with the last minute arrivers. You know the ones I am talking about; they show up at the airport minutes before scheduled departure and then huff and puff their inconsiderate selfish attitude to the front of the check-in line where you’ve been patiently waiting. They are usually short with the attendant as the attendant has something to do with their stupidity and ill-preparedness.
