Dear Reader,
Fright House was written because I thought you as well as myself could use a fictional horror book that also focuses on eliminating fear. Fright House tries to deliver a simple, yet helpful message: You can confront and conquer fear by learning from it! This compact book can help you if you allow yourself to learn from the characters mistakes, weaknesses, and strengths. You will be able to use the short and simple guided imagery exercise that is included to help you on your journey towards facing and eliminating your fear/s. No one is without fear and I'm not promising that you will emerge fearless after reading Fright House. What I can say is this: It is possible to eliminate some of your fears and live a more fear free life. Sincerely, Lydia Roberson The Author Of Fright House |
Good, Evil, Sane, Madness. They all live inside one domain. Some will make it out, but will never be the same and others will remain trapped until the walls around them fall away like rotten flesh from dead bones. Visit the official Fright House website at THE HOUSE THAT DWELLS!

After reading Fright House some of you may feel as if there weren't enough visuals. Please allow me to explain a few things about why I chose to write Fright House with limited visuals. I want the reader to use his or her imagination and not mines. I want the reader to create his or her own visuals. I want those who open the book to use it as a way to confront and conquer his or her fear/s. Believe me, I have written stories with too many details and visuals. I wanted to approach the fictional horror genre in a different way, which would allow the reader to construct his or her own stories around the stories inside the book. I hope this gives a more in-depth explanation for those of you who may feel a bit confused while reading my book. The truth is I want you to be confused. I want you to stop and think (use your own imagination and not mines). When a person opens up this book he or she should feel as if they have walked into Fright House not knowing what to expect. The reader should feel as if he or she has no other choice, but to explore and discover why these horrible things are happening. Fright House is never the same. Each character creates his or her house. In other words, the house adjusts itself to each occupant. Fright House is your house. It is the place where you hide your fears. |
