Hi, I'm Josephine
I have been writing stories and poetry all of my life, but due to my career and being a parent to three wonderful daughters, publishing has been fairly recent. Over the years I have studied various forms of meditation, Reiki, and Ki Force. I am also a Master of Magnified Healing. I have a degree in Nursing and post-grad studies in management and counseling.
My interest in art began when my Dad held my hand when I was about two years old and helped me to draw a face. Since then I have progressed through pencils and crayons through water colors and oils until finally I am doing most of my art on the computer.
I have created all of the illustrations in my books and have a substantial display of my art at my gallery at Renderosity.com
I was born in England and traveled to Australia with my family when I was ten years old. We moved to Mount Gambier when I was a child and after having lived in Victoria for a time I returned here in the early 90s and have lived here since.
My early life was filled with books and reading and every Christmas we always received a story book of some kind.
I remember our book shelves being filled with the works of Kipling, Shakespeare, H.G. Wells, Jules Verne and Edgar Allen Poe, to name a few, together with a good smattering of Enid Blyton, Colin Thiele and many other children's authors. That early contact with books at my mother's knee inspired a love of reading and writing for which I will always be grateful.
Through the years I have discovered an affinity for the spiritual and alternate pathways of life and have become deft in the use of the pendulum and the dowsing rods. These interests combined with a rather quirky sense of humor have led to the creation of the Great Profit of the doG and other stories.
