About the Author: Michael Charles Billings was born in the wonderful state of New Jersey, sometime during the latter portion of the 20th century, just over a decade prior to the disappointingly un-apocalyptic turn of the millennium. He has resided in the Garden State ever since, and although the pollution there is probably the cause of his asthma, he is quite comfortable. Having taught himself to read before ever attending school, Michael gained significant bragging rights for his parents until the other kids caught up and it was no longer special. He also developed an interest in music at an early age, but after failing to find the patience pursue this goal, he decided that writing was the proper outlet for his demented creativity. In 2005, during high school, Michael began posting some of his fictional writing online via the personal website that he had been running in his spare time since 2002. Some of the earliest of these writings doubled as English class assignments, but more recent efforts have been purely for the author's enjoyment. Today, Mr. Billings is a college student, tentatively pursuing a Physics major while leaving time for creative writing on the side.
