David Spriggs, born in Scioto County, Ohio, in 1934 and raised in Pittsburg,
Pennsylvania, currently spends his time as a freelance writer and poet. Since childhood,
David's love and curiosity for airplanes, space, and the undiscovered led him to join the
Air Force in 1951 at the mere age of eighteen. These ten years of military service afforded him the opportunity to travel to twenty-seven countries, while specializing in maintenance of various types of aircraft.
David is seventy-three years old and over his lifetime has seen many changes around
the world. He is concerned with the falling economy, government corruption, the Iraq
war, and the problem with other nations who will do whatever it takes to stop America's
forward progress into space.
He presently lives in Texas and enjoys studying World History, ancient history of our land
and anything space related. He is heavily into politics and loves writing. His one wish is
for American's to open their eyes and see what is going on in the world around them. He
believes all American's should get involved so there will still be a "land of the free" for
their children and grandchildren.

Debbie Barnum, born in Sherman, Texas, and raised in Savoy, Texas, currently spends her time helping her father, David Spriggs, put his words in print, as she believes the stories he has to share are very important and everyone should have a chance to read them. Debbie drove a truck for 11 years and has been afforded the opportunity to travel in all the lower 48 states of our great country. She is the proud grandmother of Madalyn Amanda Venable (pictured above) and Nathaniel James Venable.

Debbie is married to Barry Barnum and presently resides in Odessa, Texas. She enjoys writing, reading, bingo, scrapbooking.
