This is great roost beef. I love the roost beef, Al." Then my Dad saying, "Erik, I believe it's pronounced...pork tenderloin." So, yeah, this book is pretty darn funny. It also includes one of the most creative gimmicks in modern writing. I'm not lying. Without giving too much away, it involves three-way-sex and a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' spoof. Spoofs, there's a brief Faulkner parody as well. This book has just about everything...even paragraphs.
