Duck is not for everyone.
If you catch yourself talking to squirrels as you walk down the street, or have an insatiable desire to draw eyes on your kitchen appliances because they all seem to have a personality of their own, then Duck Book (and counseling) is for you. In a world where every toy has a built in voice and mechanized motions, Duck reminds us there is fun in the pure application of imagination. Unadulterated by batteries, our hands become life-like Ducks with true-to-life quacking sounds built in. So go ahead, draw eyes on you blender, and read a Duck Book to your favorite kid. It isn't guaranteed to raise their test scores, but it is sure to give them something to do the next time you are stuck in traffic, or a waiting room with nothing for them to play with. Everyone has a Duck.
