Previously on Shadow-Root: When Branwen, Cethliona, Tracy and Barbara went into the cave at Bent lake to search for the Eye of Balor, They were attacked by Irulan the King of Cats, During the fight, Tracy and Barbara attacked trying to steal the Eye for themselves. Tracy However betrayed Barbara and revealed herself to be a Hill-Giant. Tracy then used the eye to destroy Irulan but was killed by Branwen. Barbara was then offered a chance to leave by swearing an Oath of loyalty to him. They then returned to Branwen’s Home to tend to the injured Cethliona. Once there, Barbara called her superiors informing them of a traitor in their midst.

In the Mean time, Casey and Agatha Hotchkiss went into town to do some shopping when they met up with a fomorian female named Cethlionna who was rather upset with Branwen for not calling her when he came home.

Tsuki was tracked down and attacked by a musclebound mercenary named Lamia. WarMage arrived just in time and wound up taking Lamia down and had her arrested. When Lamia called Kriti to help bail her out, Llewllyn discovered that both Lamia and Kriti are created beings, formed by his former teacher, Rajneesh Rajadaasi.
Feeling a sense of duty to Lamia after hearing her story, Llewllyn arrainged to have Lamia released into his custody, and had the charges against her dropped. After a short conversation between Kriti and Laranya about Dharma, Tsuki and Kriti settled at least this particular argument with a session of Angry Sex.
And that is where we last left our heroes...
