Print: $34.00 Remaking Hazelwood, Remaking Pittsburgh: A Background Study is the Remaking Cities Institute's first installment in the Remaking Hazelwood series. In 2006, the RCI was funded by The Heinz Endowments to convene, host and facilitate the interaction of a select group of technology visionaries to think about the future of the Pittsburgh region, and to put at their service the RCI's expertise in urban design and community development. This project looks at the history and development potential of the former LTV coke works site, Pittsburgh's largest remaining riverfront brownfield parcel.
