I am a Mississippi native. Regardless of what people say about people from Mississippi, I don’t walk around barefoot in overalls chewing on a piece of straw. I don’t live in a run down shack or drive a tractor to town with my family riding behind in a trailer and I especially don’t have a dog named Ol’ Roy. I am a devoted husband with four wonderful boys for children. My loving, hard-working wife works in a hospital as a Medical Technologist. At the present time my children’s ages are 3, 5, 11, & 12. I love my family very much. I would die before I let something or someone hurt any one of them. I have no college degree, some college education, just an ordinary high school diploma. I am what some would call “ A Jack of All Trades But Master of None’’. I am a graduate of the “School of Hard Knox’’. What set me apart from millions of others in this wonderful country are 4 things. #1 I was raised in a small town in the country in Mississippi. #2 My will to live. #3 My knowledge of hunting, fishing, camping, & survival. #4 I have died and was paralyzed and was fortunate enough to be given another chance at life, walking & moving, love, and happiness. I don’t want to see anyone go through what I have had to go through to make me figure out how precious life is and how fast life can be taken from you at any time. In the mere blink of an eye your whole life can be flipped upside down and will never be the same again. That story is going to be another book at another time.
