I would like to say Thank You to ALL of you who serve in our Armed Forces. To the Corpsmen and Marines fighting in Iraq I say "you make us old timers so very proud. You are the best of the best." My background - I grew up in Mamaroneck NY, attended Archbishop Stepinac HS, Univ of Bridgeport before entering the Navy in 1966. After boot camp, Hospital Corps School at The Lakes and FMSS at Camp Lejeune I was stationed at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Fl. Then spent 19th month with 2nd BN 28th Marines at Camp Pendleton before going to Vietnam. In Nam I served with Delta Co 1st BN 5th Marines at An Hoa in 1969-70 and I am so proud and honored to have been associate with those warriors. They were great Marines back then but even better human beings and friends today.

Corpsman Up
"Corpsman Up" is the cry that echoes across the battlefield whenever a Marine is wounded in combat.
