Matthew Wright
"From Under Eyelids" is a book of poetry of
widely different vistas, both interior and
outward. The companion CD, "Eyelid/Fetish"
is a musical experimentation, and includes
spoken lyrics on several tracks, all poetry
not in the book. Videos from the albums are
now available on YouTube.Com under "eNuminous",
and all of the albums should be available from
Amazon.Com soon also...
Thank you for visiting this
site, and have a great day!
-Matthew

From Under Eyelids
From Under Eyelids, Poetry by Matthew Chenoweth Wright
This is Matthew's debut collection of poetry, including poems written between 1988 and 2000, and has been a working document since around 2001.
After much malingering and procrastination, this volume is finally available.
There will be a hardback edition available later this spring.
Matthew's style of writing has been described as alchemical, transcendental and abstract. But, these are just words about words. The book stands for itself.
The title, From Under Eyelids, is a reference to the power of dreams in our culture, the ability to learn from the flickering images of sleep.
Thanks in advance for your purchase, and feel free to contact the author with any comments.
Print: $12.52

Eyelid/Fetish
Eyelid/Fetish, music by Matthew Chenoweth Wright
eNuminous, obviously a pseudonym, is an artist from Sacramento, CA who specializes in soundpoems, written poetry, electronic music, strange graphic design and animation, and tons of other stuff. His name is Matthew, and he's got a real job, but his career in music has been a long time in coming; from an early age he's been singing and banging on pots and pans and generally marching to his own tune. He has written, produced and recorded two albums: 2006's EYELID/FETISH, and 2005's CITI ZEN ONE, both released on the independant and generally nonexistent label, invisible caterpillar.
Disc: $19.49
