Many tourists travel long distances to see Sydney and today they were joined by Jimiyu — a giraffe.
The 18-month-old spent seven hours on the road from Dubbo to the harbour city in a convoy.
While Jimiyu will spend the night getting acquainted with the zoo's four other giraffes, he spent the day soaking up the sights in his open-air cage.
The plucky animal also caused a stir among locals, turning the heads of busy Sydneysiders.
