I'm German-born but have been living for many years on the tiny Mediterranean island of Gozo, Malta's sister island.
Last November I jumped from a not badly paid but much-hated job in tourism, into the cold sea of "part-time self employment" without having a penny to my name. I guess that's what's called self-fulfilment.
Being a few years short of 50, I am determined to make my passion for writing, my profession!
