It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of my book, FATHER, BLESS ME, FOR I HAVE NOT SINNED, a story inspired by true events based on my life. For readers who have been waiting for this book, I deeply appreciate your patience! One dozen field testers read a proof copy of the book. The endorsements were quite favorable. For incest and/or sexual assault survivors, it offers some helpful ideas which demonstrate how we can carve out new, meaningful lives for themselves. It introduces the concept of using service animals to help mitigate our symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder-Rape Trauma (RTSD-RT). Additionally, this book serves as a source of information for friends and family members of a loved one who has been assaulted. They will gain new insight about living with PTSD-RT, and how to better cope in handling their loved ones. Nonetheless, for those of you who have not read the book I hope you will find it interesting, humorous, and informational. More importantly, may this book finds its way into the hands of women and men of various ethnic groups, various educational levels, sexual gender, and so on, who have experienced incest and/or sexual assault. By sharing my own experience of dealing with the aftermath of sexual assault, survivors will finally understand the confusing emotions associated with PTSD-RT. Lastly, for the courageous survivors, remember, we have nothing to feel guilty about. Fear is the springboard to courage.
