The Grayson County, Virginia Heritage Foundation has been established to promote, preserve and educate the cultural and family heritages of Grayson County, Virginia. Specific objectives of the foundation include:
- Educate members and the public about the history and heritage of Grayson County
- Collect and preserve historical data, cultural information, physical and real property of Grayson County
- Promote research into the archeology, architecture, arts, crafts, genealogy, history, and music of Grayson County
- Cooperate with other people, organizations, or governments in these purposes.
We are a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
As a part of our activity we plan to publish books and other material on the history and heritage of Grayson County, Virginia. Unless otherwise stated all profits from the sale of these items will be used to support the operations and goals of the Foundation.
