SIDDUR LIMMUD ● I: Friday nightSIDDUR LIMMUD ● I: Friday night (book)

Hardcover Print: $32.00

The aim of Siddúr Limmúd is to be a source of learning, encouragement and practical assistance for those who want to draw closer to the traditional practices and teachings of the Jewish people throughout the ages. The whole traditional ritual in Hebrew, including full nikkud and te‘amím, of the Spanish and Portuguese Sephardim of Western Europe and the Americas is included, together with parallel versions and optional insertions in cases where the Italiani or Ashkenazi rites differ significantly from the Sephardi version. Selected significant variants from 19th and 20th century non-Orthodox sources are also described, and in some cases added as alternatives or optional insertions. The prayerbook’s multi-denominational profile combined with a firmly traditional basis makes it usable for practical application and reference in Masorti, Conservative, Reconstructionist and progressive Modern Orthodox congregations, as well as in traditional-egalitarian havurot and minyanim. (Ib.) Inkluderer notar.
