The Havana Silk Dog Association of America is the National Parent Club for the Havana Silk Dog. Its mission is to restore the original dog of Cuba through selective breeding of carefully screened dogs that have been fully health-tested and evaluated before being permitted to enter the gene pool. This small, drop-coated, elegant little dog has been bred for centuries to be a companion dog, protector of the family farm, herder of poultry and friend to children.
