It is musical illustration. If we listen this work attentively, images, complete scenes will appear on the screen of our imagination, as if they were drawn by notes that transport us in a different world at every piece.
The composer uses no loop, no prerecording. He composes only from "blank pages"; even the percussion parts are created note by note. The compositions are based on the techniques used in classical music (forms, arrangements, counterpoints, creation of timbres, etc.)
All these pieces have been conceived from imaginary or real images, scenes and scripts.
For example:
BASKETBALL possesses a very precise script. The synopsis is: Japanese men, in silk shining color pajamas, play basketball with tennis balls and then enter Count Dracula’s castle.
