After Abby got Penny calmed down, they returned to Penny’s place, but as they approached the door, they heard a sound inside, so they turned and dashed back to Abby’s apartment. A few minutes later, they entered Penny’s apartment and found that the body had disappeared, so they returned to Abby’s place and called the police.
