This Reiki program is intended to provide the young person with a healthy and fun tool for self-care and self-acceptance leading to personal empowerment. Reiki is a conscious life force energy shared through the hands, that provides individuals, through gentle and appropriate touch, with a sense of calm and balance. Within this book are two stories: one for children nine and under and another for ten year olds and over, accompanied by resources and guidance for parents, educators and Reiki teachers. Told through the eyes of a young adventurer Lolly Walker, we follow her through various parts of the world and learn about the levels of awareness that each of us, young and old, can eventually hope to discover over their lifetime. Finally, climbing Mount Kurama in Japan, we discover with Lolly, the loving Reiki that she brings back to her father. Through this we learn that we too can carry this loving energy with us anywhere! We only need believe!
