Golden SlumbersGolden Slumbers (audio download)
Download: FREE Four Father's Lullabies - Number 1 (Free)
Golden Slumbers was written as part of a series called Four Father's Lullabies. It is both for my son, Pooky, and The Micklegate Singers. It is partly inspired by some Philip Glass stuff (but with a tune).
It is in midi format, which should play on pretty much any computer anywhere. My conductor affectionately calls the instrument used "the Doodoos". Anybody who knows stuff about midi can probably extract the lyrics too.
If you and your choir would like to perform this work, I will be happy to provide music. Contact me by going to my store front.
It is free, and is available in "Preview Content" so you shouldn't have to log on to listen to it.
I'll add the lyrics in a comment below. Download for Free |
