"SPACE AGE! That umbrella that covered post-WW2 pop culture which gave us elaborate offerings like Martin Denny records, 8-track tapes, shag carpeting and, most of all, buildings that looked either like a slice of Hawaii or ready to fly off into space. Even though this era had resurfaced in the 90's as much lauded artifacts, many of these buildings were gone for good.

Shmuck-O Rat NET FUN AHOY! Volume One
Since 1990, SHMUCK-O RAT has been surviving the streets of Venice Beach
and the general human race for the good name of beer and a slightly sober
version of sanity for various comic book compilations and zines, including
the compilation book, THE WHATEVER OF SHMUCK-O RAT. Since 2003,
the rat has taken to the dime-a-dozen world of internet comic strips and….
well, basically been doing the same thing, only on a semi-weekly basis.
SHMUCK-O RAT’S NET FUN AHOY is a collection of the first batch of these strips.
Follow the Rat’s sent as he destroys a Steely Dan concert, feeds mermaid fanboys
