It deals with the exploration and perception of place and people and notions of liminality: transitions the body goes through from subject to object.
‘The body of work presented in this book is based on the pragmatic idea of a new working location (Beijing, China) as a kind of improvisational theatre, a space were cultural identities can be adopted and explored at will.
The act of watching, feeling a certain emotion and the decision of capturing that subject forms the initial phase of a process of fragmentation of a world perceived as flexible.
The act of making work is the manifestation of this pursuit, manually remaking all these machine made images, thoughts and emotive states."
