I just finished my most recent project, Banner, a near-future, space-opera scifi novel. It's my best fiction work so far, and has some of my best artwork on the cover and inside.
Most of my books are from the Lower Knight sagas. September of 2001 I started writing novels based in the world of Atanoah. They follow people called Lower Knights, who wear a living armor and deal with powerful enemies, in addition to the typical frustrations of life. I've written 10 books based in that world. Five are currently available for purchase here (the others are going through major revision).
If you're new to the Lower Knights stories, I recommend reading Two Armies first. It's the easiest to get into, and acts as a good introduction to the world.
Also! My Iraq War based novella Blade of Isaac is at the bottom of the page.
It's a contemporary and real-world military drama. It follows a character Elijah Ali as he serves in Iraq for the US Army.

But even working at the ever-quiet Checkpoint Seven, he's a good enough solider to remember that this could change in an instant.
Blade of Isaac is part one of what may become many stories following the adventures of Elijah Hassan Ali. These are my first longer fictional works that are real-world, contemporary. I plan to write at least one more story taking place after this one, to be titled Lucid. I also may lengthen Blade of Isaac into a full-length novel someday.
This story is fictional, but much of what happens is closely based on my own experiences when I served in Iraq for OIF III & IV (2005-2006).
