's Blog
2007 Mar 24 Hooray for you! You've stumbled upon my Lulu page! *grin* Well, such as it is, anyway.
I'm Lupa, a pagan/occult author living in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and fellow author, Taylor Ellwood. This is a little side project to make use of those writings that aren't big enough for books, but are too long for articles. Normally I publish my full-length books with Immanion Press/Megalithica Books (http://www.immanion-press.com) for whom I am also an editor and publicity manager; you can find out more about that at http://www.thegreenwolf.com and http://www.kinkmagic.com. I'm a prolific blogger; you can see my personal blog at http://lupabitch.livejournal.com and my book review blog at http://lupabitch.wordpress.com
As for my professionally published works, my first book was Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone: A Primal Guide to Animal Magic, which was released by Immanion/Megalithica in May 2006. Next month (April 2007) should see the release of my next solo book, A Field Guide to Otherkin, also from Immanion/Megalithica. My husband and I are cowriting Kink Magic: Sex Magic Beyond Vanilla (kinkmagic.com has specific details on that). I'm also working on an as-of-yet-untitled sequel to Fang and Fur, going into more on animal magic in general; my self-published ebook available here through Lulu, Shifting, Shamanism and Therianthropy, is a draft excerpt of that.

Print: $5.23 Download: FREE Tired of "how to become a werewolf" rituals that promise a lot but deliver disappointment? There's a reason for that. Lupa, a magician and lupine therianthrope, gets into the nitty-gritty of how therianthropy and magic can intersect--and why there are no easy answers and quick fixes. While the material may not work for every therian, it's based on Lupa's magical experience of over a decade. She explains the importance of the mechanics of magic, as well as how they can be applied to shifting for the purpose of gaining better internal balance. This resource is offered as a free ebook to the public, or an at-cost hardcopy booklet. You may see Lupa's professionally published works through Immanion Press at http://www.thegreenwolf.com

Print: $5.27 Download: FREE READ about my early years as a pagan and therianthrope!
LAUGH at my random attempts at humor!
PHEAR my 1337 layout skillz!
Okay, seriously. I'm a professionally published occult author with Immanion Press (http://www.immanion-press.com). I had some folks on my blog express interest in seeing some writing about the spiritual side of my practice, since it's not something I tend to write about much--I tend to write more about the magical end of my practice. So this is a rather informal exploration of my spirituality for those curious. I talk about totems and therianthropy, deities and rituals, and how it was I came to a pagan path in the first place. The download is free, and the print version is at cost, for those of us who hate ebooks. If you like what you read here, check out my professionally published works at http://www.thegreenwolf.com
