About Me: I'm a work-at-home mom, and I homeschool my 12 year old son (who is a wheelchair racer). I'm a writer (fiction and non-fiction), and started writing software tutorials before I made the transition to working full-time from home. My customers at the store always wanted "books" to take home -- there weren't any. So I wrote them. Then, as I started using other software, I started writing the type of "plain English" books I wished were available when I was trying to learn the software. Please bookmark our site and come back often -- I'm in the process of converting all my embroidery tutorials into the correct formatting to offer them in printed format by Lulu. (Yes, I heard you all -- and I'm doing it! *LOL*) But it'll take a while to get them all ready. I'm starting with the newest ones first and will work my way through them.
My tutorials are written in plain English for people who aren't computer programmers, so you can get started quickly and without frustration! My goal is to provide easy-to-follow, affordable tutorials for the average person. You're NOT dumb -- you just need a tutorial to help you understand what you're seeing, not white papers written by programmers. Unfortunately, many software manuals are written by programmers, not real-life non-programmer users. You don't want to become a programmer -- you just want to make your program do what you need it to do.
I write tutorials for Zen Cart, Joomla, Palette/PE-Design, Generations, Origins, Embroidery Magic 2, Fancyworks Studio, and more.
