Science Fiction for Thinkers...Using science fiction as a vehicle for exploring supernatural phenomena, the universe and contemporary Earth culture, Michael Casher opens a new window on the everyday world and offers a unique vision of the cosmos.
The "Science Fiction for Thinkers" collection is a new genre of sci-fi that contains hard science fiction and some elements of fantasy but it reads like mainstream. These page-turning thrillers are especially geared toward intelligent readers seeking truth in a world filled with lies and danger.
Michael Casher successfully combines science fiction, mainstream and action/adventure to captivate his readers with tales of emerging and speculative technology, extraterrestrial influences and threats, underground governments and hidden truths. Plus in-depth character development, intricate plots, compelling story lines, lots of comic relief and even a little romance.
It's aliens, spies, conspiracies, exotic creatures, strange new worlds, supernatural forces and unlikely heroes when everyday people tackle some of life's toughest problems while battling the dark forces that threaten their planet.
Follow the classic battle between good and evil. Explore the wonders of the universe and life's biggest mysteries. Take the roller coaster ride and pursue the true nature of life, time & space and death.
Your world may never look the same.

Hey everybody,
I'm in the process of republishing all eight of my books for sale in the Lulu Marketplace only. After eight years in the Amazon distribution channels, nobody bought my books because the retail price was way too high and out of my control.
But I'm back, without Amazon, and in control once again. All my books will soon be available again here at Lulu.com, with prices way below retail. And, hopefully, you'll still be able to get them at the Amazon Kindle Store as ebooks at very affordable prices.
Thanks for your patience and for your interest in "Science Fiction for Thinkers".
Michael

Print: $12.95 In Michael Casher’s first novel, The Evermore Trilogy begins. Jack Rand is a thirty-year-old nobody until he meets Unim, a biped plant from the planet Zeta6. It’s a textbook alien abduction that suddenly goes awry when Unim's mutiny aboard the starship, Luminer, changes everything. Overnight, Jack’s hometown of Evermore, Pennsylvania, becomes the staging ground for retaking the starship, a scientific craft commissioned by the rulers of Zaroz, Zeta6 and Hool. Its mission: to create artificial human beings from the thoughts of Earthlings. The battle for control of Luminer is a high-stakes contest to see which side can capture the hearts and minds of five unwitting Earthlings. Commander Zhorin will stop at nothing to complete his mission. Caught in the middle are two artificially-created human sisters who seek revenge against those who created their fatally-flawed bodies. In the balance, lies the fate of planet Earth and the entire Milky Way Galaxy.

Print: $14.50 The "Evermore Trilogy" adventure continues. Jack's back for more misadventures with Unim, the biped plant from Zeta6. It's seven years later and Unim suddenly appears on Earth, snatched from a wormhole during a routine cargo mission between Hool and Zaroz by an evil time travel project on Earth. When Jack agrees to help the Uli find his Hooligan friend, who is lost somewhere in time, he doesn't know what he's let himself in for.
It's "Spy vs. Spy" as things get so out of hand in Pennsylvania's Allegheny Plateau that even the New York mob gets involved. The alterable future of planet Earth is now in the hands of Jack Rand, Unim and an Air Force Colonel from the past with special ties to an underground alien presence that has been tinkering with Earth's population and its destiny since the days of Roswell.
"Time and Time Again" is an eye-opening, mind-blowing excursion into the timeless mysteries of a boundless Universe where the future is up for grabs and the past never dies.

Print: $7.95 Writing under a pen name, science fiction author Michael Casher creates his first literary novella. Jonco Bugos is the author of "Blind Fool Running", the story of a retired man who writes books that no one wants.
Roger and Cat live together even though cat and man are considered to be natural born enemies in this part of Appalachia. As Roger begins his seventh book he begins to doubt whether or not he should continue. What makes a man begin a seventh novel when his first six books sit in boxes on the floor and make no difference in the lives of others? He needs to know before he can continue.
Only Roger, himself, can answer his own question. But arriving at a solution to this dilemma will take some time and the journey will be an awakening he will never forget. In the process of discovery Roger confirms his commitment to exposing hidden truths about life on Earth.
Written in the first person, present tense, "Blind Fool Running" is a powerful and often astonishing journey of personal discovery.

Print: $9.50 In his eighth book, science fiction author Michael Casher presents a surgical critique of American mores and contemporary Earth culture that is sometimes disdainful and often humorous. Blogging as four separate personalities, Mr. Casher x-rays the human condition and exposes the foible-ridden heart and soul of the 20th and 21st Century Earthling.
As Fred Fortune, he gives our collective complacency a much-needed verbal shock treatment. As Jonco Bugos, he offers timeless advice on how to navigate the turbulent waters of the everyday world. As Little Green Man from Mars, he attacks our traditions, our values and our way of thinking with a feather sword
And, finally, as Baby Boomer Boy, Michael Casher antagonizes and delights us by lampooning our most ambitious undertakings and our dubious rites of passage as evolving human beings, while making heroes and heroines out of just about all of us. The Four Bloggers of the Apocalypse is not so much a book of prophecy as it is a book of self-revelation.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
There is NO hardback version of Evermore: the Evermore Trilogy begins.
I never approved any hardback version of this novel for publication and there never will be a hardback version of this book approved by me and published by Lulu.com. Any HARDBACK version listed or offered at online booksellers is completely bogus, the result of an automated distribution error caused by Lulu.
While a hardback version was one of my 2009 Lulu projects, I did not approve it for distribution and, in fact, I "retired" it from my Lulu projects list rather than approve it because I felt that it was too costly. How this hardback book got into distribution is a mystery I may never fathom. Only 6 x 9 U.S.Trade paperback books by Michael Casher and Jonco Bugos (my literary pen name) are written, approved and authorized by me for publication by Lulu.com.
Additionally, Science Fiction for Thinkers.com, my official website, is the publisher of Kindle Editions of all the books shown on this page, published in 2009 exclusively for reading on Amazon's Kindle Wireless Reading Device.
Thank you,
